My favourite teacher at school was a science teacher called Wendy Sibley. She made us prepare and teach small 5 minute segments of the lessons to help develop our confidence in speaking in front of people.
It was her teaching methods that made me decide writing a job advert ks3 pursue a career in teaching. I also like the books by David Walliams because I really like his recurring character of the newsagent Raj and his special offers.
I am a great fan of Formula One. My secret skill would be singing although not so secret in assemblies!
I very much enjoy my job, working with others, getting to know the children and learning from them. Believe it or not! I started life as a PE teacher in what seems quite a long time ago. Outside of school I enjoy being a member of Wimborne Running Club. At the moment I am aiming to lose some weight and find some fitness.
I really enjoy taking part in the weekly ParkRun in Poole Park and have completed of them. I can recommend ParkRun to everyone. I am also hoping to return to playing some recreational tennis after back and Achilles injuries. My favourite teacher was Mr Edwards who was a history teacher and used to do impressions of famous people.
The teacher that I remember the most from school is my History teacher, who was called Mrs Brenchley no relation to our Mrs Brenchley though I believe! I loved that she was so kind and seemed genuinely pleased to see us each lesson. She taught us by simply reading out her hand written notes really slowly for us to write down.
I remember presenting her with a typed copy of her notes at the end of the year and she was thrilled with the gift! It also made my cry at the end — which means it must be a great book! I would say that my secret skill is bubble writing because every time I show my classes how to write something using bubble writing they make very satisfying noises of delight — and surprise.
Thank you for that! A surprising fact about me is that I have travelled to over fifteen different countries. My interests out of school revolve around my family and my two springer spaniel dogs.
We love a muddy walk in Puddletown forest with friends and have enjoyed the excitement and fun of two litters of puppies in the last few years. Hopefully we will have the chance to fill a few more homes with lovable pups in the near future.
Hi……my name is Mr. I have been fortunate enough to spend my entire career in middle schools and I think that they are a fantastic environment in which to learn and grow. My main subject is English and I love it. A surprising fact about me is that I have sung on stage at Wembley Arena with Metallica.
Year 5 Team Hello! I love teaching many different subjects but particularly enjoy music and drama. One of my favourite teachers at junior school gave me the freedom to explore my ideas. I decided we should be able to have school pets so, after raising money for this venture through a tuck-shop, my friend and I went to buy suitable animals.
We chose a male and a female rat to see what would happen. Our class had great fun looking after them. As for me, I decided to study them: I weighed them, measured them, recorded how much they ate, timed how fast they ran in races, and drew graphs of the results.
It is no surprise that I went on to study science at university. School gave me a love of learning, and in return I probably gave them a rat infestation. They are popular with the children in my class.Welcome to St Mary's C.E. Middle School. Thank you for visiting the website for St.
